Sponsored Projects
Apart from testing of materials center offers the services as sponsored projects in the following programme:
- Concrete Technology
- Structural Assessment and Rehabilitation
- Structural Optimization and Design
- Construction Technology and Management
(I) Concrete Technology:
Apart from concrete mix design for ordinary concrete and standard concrete center offers services in terms of sponsored projects like development of special concrete such as plastic concrete previous concrete etc., advance concrete composites like SFR, PMC etc. Centre also offer services in the area of durability studies of concrete and evaluation of new product as durability enhancement using accelerated test.
R&D Contribution of these sponsored projects are based on work involved and mutually decided after discussion with sponsor.
(II) Structural Assessment and Rehabilitation:
In this programme center offers services in terms of sponsored projects like in-situ quality assessment, durability investigation and residual life assessment of concrete structures using field studies using NDT followed by laboratory testing.
R&D Contribution are based on work involved after preliminary site inspection & estimation of work to be carried out and mutually decided after discussion with sponsor.
(III) Structural Optimization and Design:
In this programme center offers servicesin terms of sponsored projects like evaluation of structural adequacy and seismic load carrying capacity of structure, proof checking of structural design and service life design for concrete structures and assessment of load carrying capacity structural elements through load testing.
R&D Contribution are based on work involved after preliminary site inspection & estimation of work to be carried out and mutually decided after discussion with sponsor.
(IV) Construction Technology and Management:
In this programme center offers services in terms of sponsored projects like technical audit, quality assurance & quality control and third party quality audit.
R&D Contribution of these sponsored projects are based on percentage basis or lump sum basis as per work involved and mutually decided after discussion with sponsor.
