Integrated IT Solutions
NCB is equipped with modern IT infrastructure having fully functional centralized internet and e-mail facility through Internet Leased Line connectivity. An intranet site is also operational for the benefit of NCB officials.
Publication (PBL)
Information on technologies and services of NCB is disseminated through NCB publications regularly. NCB publications received appreciation from readers as these have compared well with international ones.
Seminar and Conferences (SMC)
NCB has been organizing national and international seminars and exhibitions from time to time. The 9th International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement held in November 1992 was organized by NCB, for the first time in this part of the world. Besides several international events organized by NCB, the biennial series of NCB International Seminar on Cement and Building Materials has since come of age and the cement, building materials and construction industries look forward to participation in the same with interest. Industrial Information and Data Bank (INF)
NCB library at Ballabgarh Unit serves as the information centre for cement, other building materials and construction industries at the national level. Some of the important features of the Library are:
- Holding of about 46,916 documents and received 34 journals.
- Bibliographic database of over 40,044 records for interactive searches is being constantly updated and used by NCB scientists as well as cement and user industries.
- Internet connection for surfing by library staff as well as scientists and engineers.
- Membership of 5 Indian and Overseas professional institutions.
- The Automation System enabling to perform the primary library functions like acquisition/ordering system, cataloging system, circulation system, serial control,
articles indexing and Online public access catalog (OPAC) etc more efficiently has been procured.

International Linkages/ Collaboration Programme (INL)
NCB has been actively interacting and liaising with a number of international bodies and exchanging knowledge and experience particularly in the area of cement and building materials. Presently being pursued MoUs are:
- Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Verein Deutscher Zementwerke (VDZ), Germany represented by Chief Executive, Dr Martin Schneider for co-operation in R&D in cement manufacture and application including process technology, environmental protection, performance of cement, basic concrete materials and concrete technology, performance evaluation of concrete, construction technology, environmental compatibility of cement and concrete, sustainability of buildings with concrete and methods of measurement and testing.

Image Building (IMB)
Image Building (IMB) programme carries out dissemination/propagation of important institutional initiatives and achievements to the masses in general, and industry in particular through print and electronic media and advertisements in press, trade journals, periodicals, souvenirs, etc. The in-house Quarterly publication “NCB Newsletter” is also used as an information carrier of NCB activities to the industry.
