Alternate Fuels
The cement industry has been making all out efforts to reduce coal consumption by using various alternate waste-derived-fuels such as scrapped tyres, Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) sludge, Municipal Solid Wastes [MSW], spent wash, plastic waste, paint sludge from automobile sector, bio-fuels, petroleum refinery sludge, pesticide sludges, etc.
NCB is having expertise for providing services to cement industry in using alternate fuels, increasing thermal substitution rate and providing system designs/layouts for alternate fuels
